What is
urban lumber?
We connect with local tree fellers, arborists and home owners to source fallen, discarded and salvaged, sustainable specialty trees. We call it ‘specialty’ because EVERY TREE HAS A STORY and every story is unique. We provide a second chance for these otherwise forgotten trees by quickly turning them into project-ready kiln dried lumber, so we can build and create with “good wood”, from trees that have sustained for generations, that now in their new form will once again be appreciated and valued for many more to come.
Promotes environmental sustainability & conservation by repurposing felled trees.
Reduces the strain put on our natural forests and the need for clear cutting and harvesting timber.
Preserves vital ecosystems that help combat deforestation.
